Description: 9 YR OLD GREY GELDING
Stetson is a grade 2015 Quarter Horse gelding that stands 15.3 hands and weighs around 1260 lbs. We’ve used him for a wide variety of things and he always has a willing attitude and a lot of try. He’s done hundreds of trail miles, crossing downfall, water, and bridges. He’ll cross a shallow creek and he’s been through water up to his chest. Stetson rides out alone or in a group, and you can ride him in the front, middle or back of the string. He might get a little noisy and call for his friends if you take him out alone or leave the group, but he’ll go wherever you point him with no fuss and isn’t barn or buddy sour. Stetson has been used on cattle drives and for some novice team penning and he tracks cattle well. He’s got a big motor and a lot of speed when you want it. We’ve competed with him for ski-joring the last couple of winters, carried flags on him and used him to halter break some weanling’s. He was used for a Equine Trail Sport Competition and took 3rd place in the intermediate division. He’ll be lightly started on the heel side by sale time. He rides nice in the arena as well. Neck-reins, moves off your leg, and knows his leads. Stetson is very friendly and loves people, he’ll catch you! Gets along well with other horses, and has been around goats, dogs, chickens, and pigs. He’s great for the farrier to work on and stands for hot shoes. Loads and hauls great. Arrow is a flashy young gelding with personality and potential. He has been hauled a ton, travels well, is mannerly and adapts well to different environments. He’s happy to go for a Sunday stroll or climb the steepest trail. We have ridden him extensively for the past year in Idaho, Washington and Arizona in some very rugged country. He’s been on many fun adventures with a tough group of riders in the Prescott National Forest, on some famous old ranches, and on the beautiful desert trails of Arizona. He’s used to barking dogs, traffic, rattlesnakes and rocks. He has a big walk and smooth gaits. He’s also been shown in ranch versatility classes. His simple lead changes and departures are spot on, as are his stops, turns, leg yields, side pass and just about anything you’d ask of one in the arena. He is gentle, always fun to ride, and he has the heart to go all day. He is 15.2 hands, wears a #1 shoe, is stout, big boned and extremely cute. He is UTD on all vaccines. RO CHARGIN TIME was born and raised and wears the famous RO brand, from the famous O RO ranch in Arizona. BayMax as we call him is a 6 year old 16h tall registered gelding with lots of chrome and a huge willingness to please. He is an all business not in your pocket type of horse. This horse was born to be a tough go all day never give in. The looser the rein you ride, the calmer and quieter he stays. I have used him to do just about everything on the ranch from sorting, doctoring and branding BayMax makes everyday chores as simple as they can be. He has spent lots of time in the feedlot as well as making big circles gathering cows on the desert and forest leases. He watches and rates a cow well and always stays between the reins. BayMax is very soft in the mouth, gives to leg pressure and yields both front and hind quarters. In the arena BayMax has been lightly started on the head side as well as in the breakaway. We have tracked the dummy as well as live cattle on him. BayMax has a huge stop and stops flat and smooth every time. He has a huge motor and a Ton of speed, He would excel as a high school or jackpot horse in the poles, barrels or breakaway.
