Jake is an outstanding, big, blue roan QH.  He is pretty enough to win a halter class and big and strong enough to do all the mountain stuff and ranch chores.  This horse was raised by a good friend of ours that started him and used him in the sale barn sorting and penning cattle and horses.  We have had him on the ranch and been using him for everything from fall gathering, spring turnout, roping, sorting, etc.  He has seen it all outside –  trail riding, rough, rocky, sage brush and mountainous terrain. This beautiful 15 hand stocky red roan has been there and done that.  He is great with his feet in the mountains and crosses anything you ask in a careful and gentle manner.  He steps out and travels well.  You will look a long time to find a horse that is such a dream on the trails or in the mountains.   If you need to turn up the heat a bit and get a ranch job done he will match his rider’s level and show up as a reliable ranch mount.  He has been roped off, gathered with and has been ridden by old and young alike. Hutch is a 7 year old, big beautiful bay roan QH gelding.  He is a versatile horse that has been used gathering cattle in the mountains, has roped both ends in the arena and has a really nice handle.
