Hancock has been a barn favorite. He’s got a unique color that catches the eye. He is a gentleman to be around and greets you at the gate. This Horse has been cowboyed on most of his life. He has doctored everything from bulls to baby calves. I’ve solo doctored more calves and yearlings than I count and he handles them all with ease. He’s done everything ranch related from sorting out heavy cows, pairs, and bulls to trailing wild cows through the thick timber in the mountains and baby calves through the tall, thick sagebrush on the desert. He’s not only handy on the ranch, but he’s one that in a very short time you can take to town and win some money heeling on. He’s got a really good start on the heeling side and gets better and better every time he backs into the box. He’s the type of horse we can put everyone on, he’s handy enough to get any job done, but gentle enough to put the kids on and go for a ride with the whole family. He’s a dang good horse and would make a great addition to any barn. Her stands at 14.3 hands and weighs about 1100 lbs. He’s got great ground manners and is good with his feet. Description: If this gelding doesn’t turn your head, I’m not sure what will! Vintage is one hand broke. He will really collect up nicely and has one of the smoothest trots I’ve ever sat. He side passes to open and shut gates, has clean lead departures, and lopes nice circles. He aims to please, carries himself with class, and has all the makings of a high quality using and performance horse. Vintage has been used for day work, has experience at the cattle sales, and has been started in the roping pen. He has been hauled all over and enjoys getting out and seeing new country. He crosses water, logs, and all types of obstacles with confidence. “Cochise” stands 16 h/1250 lbs. 5 year old registered AQHA. Absolute best disposition. All around family horse from grandma to grandkids, from sorting to babysitting. He has a beautiful unique blue roan grulla tri-color. He has good black feet and strait legs. Heavy boned. Good to shoe. We have packed on him a lot in the mountains. We have even had little kids ride on top off the pack saddles in a halter. He neck reins and side passes well. Has a good stop. Open and closes gates. Has a great headset. Done all aspects of ranch work. We have sorted on him in the sorting pen with a war bridle. You can hobble him with no issues. Trailers well alone or with other horses. He does well being turned out with other horses. Crosses water well. You can rope on him. We have shot guns off of him. Can pony other horses. You can lay him off and get right back on, no problem. No kick, no buck, no bite. Ride him around and through traffic, trailers, noise and he excels. He stands tied great. We have had him around 4 wheelers, dogs, and little kids. Cisco is a big, gentle palomino gelding we’ve owned since he was a three-year-old. He stands a solid 15.2 hands, wears size-one shoes all the way around, and weighs about 1,300 pounds. Cisco has been used in every aspect of ranch work—calving, doctoring, sorting, and trailing cattle to mountain pasture. He has also been used as a pack horse in the high country. He rides with a nice, one hand neck rein and carries a smooth, easy walk. Cisco has been roped off both in the branding pen and outside, and he handles it all without issue.
