Description: 6 YR OLD SORREL MARE

“Lita” is bred to COW! conformation to STOP, and full of personality! Lita meets you at the gate and shoves her head in the halter excited to go and do! She is a learner with tons of heart! She had a foal as a 3yro and was put on the back burner. When Amber Wagoner of Wagoner Training acquired her as a 4 yro, she had not been started yet, and barely handled. Amber felt that this is the perfect first colt for her 13yro daughter to start. Winona Wagoner started Lita in April of 2022 and the two have grown together leaps and bounds. Winona is only selling her because she has a colt to start this spring, 4-H, Softball, and other busy teeneager activities. So, Lita is getting left in the pasture more than Winona would like. It’s a waste of a damn good mare! Lita is a the shorter side at 14.2, but has got lots of bone. 

We would not say Lita is a beginner horse, but intermediate who wants to learn about training with an easy partner, this mare is it! She could finish out in any direction. Cutting, VRH, Trail horse, breakaway, options are endless!
