He has also been ridden extensively outside, covering lots of country, and is confident and sure-footed on the trail. Dinero is a 12 yr old bay roan grade quarter horse gelding that stands 15 hands and is stout made. This is one very gentle and extra broke to ride finished Ranch horse gelding that the whole family can ride. He has done everything you can do on the ranch, including lots of Alley sorting, and will not let a cow get by him. He will work off your legs and is very handy. Really reads cattle well. Been roped off of and has doctored hundreds of them over his years. You can go down your rope to doctor and he’ll keep things tight. Great in the branding pen and always keeps his cool. Very gentle for most anybody that knows how to ride. He lopes pretty circles, easily picking up his leads. Will spin both directions correctly and has a big stop. This guy has also spent many miles trail riding and exploring the mountains. He is trained to side step up to a mounting block or fence and make it easier to get on. This is one of my favorite horses to get a job done on. He is definitely our go to guy when you’ve got a cow job that needs done. He has zero buck in him and can be laid off. Easy to catch and will step in the trailer, stand quiet, and back out like a gentleman. He has been to Ranch rodeos and team penning and sorting’s. He walks out well and is not spooky. Very confident and capable horse. He has no bad habits and is very quiet to be around on the ground. He is used to dogs and kids and the commotion of Ranch life. Traffic safe. Rowdy is one of our home grown gypsy vanners. He stands 14.3 and weighs 1310 lbs. He was as sweet as they come as a baby and has not changed. He is a well rounded individual with a big heart. He is black with 4 white socks and a blaze – so really striking to look at. We have done all the training on this gelding since he was just a couple days old until sale time. He has been used in the back country, packing, leading packs strings, wrangling in the horses and up and down the trails a bunch. He has been ridden by various levels of riders and does well taking care of everyone. He has been used on the ranch sorting, gathering, checking cows and he has been roped off. You can point him in any direction and he will head off whether it’s up a steep hill or mountain, down a creek, through down timber, across a bridge or just out in the open. We have done training in the arena so he is used to being ridden indoors as well. We started driving him fall of 2025 and he pulled the Surry like a pro. No issues there. We will continue to drive him until sale time. He has the quiet disposition of the gypsy vanner breed and enough ability to get any job done. He is a great gelding to be around and handle.
