Description: 11 YEAR OLD BUCKSKIN GELDING
Rocky is a gorgeous Buckskin grade quarter horse gelding the stands 15.3 hands tall. All black legs with good bone and foot. This guy is a ranch and trail horse deluxe. He is gentle and stays that way with time off. He is very broke to ride and has all the buttons on him. Easy rocking chair, lope, and will pick his leads up correct both directions. Good old-fashioned neck rein on him and will confidently go where he is pointed. This horse has done all of the Ranch chores, including roping and doctoring, pushing cattle and sorting. He has a great side pass on him and is good at opening and closing gates. Even though he is a big guy, he is trained to let you climb up on your mounting block or fence and simply Smooch to him and he will side step over and let you get on. He has been in all types of terrain and has seen lots of mountain miles. Has a good walk and goes anywhere he’s asked. Crosses water, logs, and other obstacles easily. This horse has been used in the movies as well as a few TV series. He was used as a lead actor Horse. So he is used to lots of commotion of all types. Very gentle to ride and be around on the ground. No buck or pull back. he loads and hauls in the trailer like a gentleman. Pulls hard from the saddle horn and will skid firewood into camp or pull the kids on the sleigh for fun. He is a very neat horse to have around. has been used as a lesson horse and is the kind that you can put inexperienced riders on and he will take good care of them along the way. This is the kind of horse when the pressure is on you can grab and he will not let you down. Good in the branding pen and has drug lots of calves to the fire . Rocky has been a great horse for us and we are proud to offer him for sale. He sells 100% sound. This is the kind everybody looks for and rarely finds. We have him and he is for sale today. Slick is a gorgeous 5 year old Grulla gelding. Slick is well made and nice to look at. Slick is light in your hands and soft and supple throughout his body. Slick has kind eyes and has an in your pocket type personality. This gelding has so many good qualities and gets better every time we swing a leg over him. He loves attention, and is easy to ride. He stands around 14.3 hands. Slick is no stranger to a days work and has been rode out on the trails, used in the feed lot, sale barn and in the arena. Not only is Slick nice to watch in the arena but he knows how to maneuver his way around rocks, logs, brush, and other obstacles, and does it with ease. Slick picks up his leads, turns around nice, has a good stop to him and lopes nice circles. We have tracked the dummy with him and he does great. Slick would make a nice roping prospect. Slick is a gentleman to be around, has good manners on the ground and in the saddle. This nice gelding is no stranger to obstacle courses, whips, tarps, noodles, plastic bags, ropes, etc… he handles them all calmly and with ease.
