Bessie is a true confidence builder. Rarely do you see a four-year-old mule that is gentle and easy-going enough to represent at a select sale. Bessie is as nice, calm and forgiving as an older mule that has proven themselves over the years. Bessie learned what work was in an outfitters string. She has the mindset to think through situations without reacting and she rides like she is 20. Her time as an outfitting mule only made her love people interactions more. Her main job in the outfitter pack string was packing the special cargo, including the outfitter favorite dog. She loves to be with her handler. She is an in your pocket type mule that knows how to be respectful of your space at the same time. Bessie has been ridden in the Red Rocks of Nevada and all around the rugged country of Utah and Idaho. During her time with us she has learned to ride soft & correct and has enjoyed learning every step of the way. She knows her leg cues and is naturally soft on the rein. Her build is correct, and she will mature out to be a good-sized mule. I have always said that some mules just sell themselves and Bessie is no exception. You can spend all the money & time on training but the money best spent is on a good mind. This sweet girls mind is definitely worth every penny.
