Gatsby is a 5-year-old crossbred gelding standing 15.2 hands tall and traveling with the smooth, easy stride everyone is looking for. He has been in the same program for the past two years and has proven himself to be a versatile, dependable gelding that has seen all aspects of ranch and arena work. Gatsby has a tremendous handle and a willing, user-friendly disposition. He has been used to start colts, turn back for cutters, catch cows, team rope, and outride at the racetrack. He has also been ridden extensively outside, covering lots of country, and is confident and sure-footed on the trail. He is gentle and trustworthy enough for the whole family to enjoy — the mother-in-law rides him regularly on the trail, the daughter rides him English and has started him over fences, the aunt ships and moves cows on him, the mother uses him for skijoring, and for Dad he is that dependable, go-to horse in the trailer you can count on in any situation. Gatsby is smooth, strong, sound, and intelligent with no spook or bad habits. He is easy to bridle, saddle, bathe, haul and shoe. He is the first one to meet you in a 100-acre pasture or is just as content in the barn.
