We are proud to offer this versatile, gentle and handy-broke gelding at the Salmon Select Sale. Speedy is a dependable trail horse and an absolute pleasure to ride. He is sure-footed and crosses water and all trail obstacles with ease. He rides quiet and confidently in the rocks and steep country and has ridden hundreds of miles outside moving cattle and riding in the back country. He is safe and approved for anyone that can get on and hold the reins. Speedy is good around dogs, blowing tarps and heavy traffic, will not spook and can go all day. He saddles up the same every time, will not get fresh or tight, and will stand calmly next to the mounting block to get on. Speedy is a finished heel and breakaway horse and will be hauled to jackpots until sale time. He is solid in in the box, scores great, has a ton of cow and rate, a big stop and can really run. He would be a great multiple event horse for a high school or college competitor, or a number one horse for any serious roper. He is a cool rope horse that can take a lot of runs.  Speedy rides great in the arena, lopes smooth perfect circles, and will side pass over to open gates. He is an easy to catch, dependable and no-nonsense type of gelding. He hauls great in any type of trailer and a perfect gentleman to shoe, bathe and handle. 14.3 hands tall and is the perfect easy quarter horse size for most riders. UTD on all worming and vaccines.
