Description: 12 YR OLD GRADE QH BUCKSKIN GELDING

Rocker is a 12 year old grade quarter horse, Buckskin gelding that stands 15 hands tall and is stout made. All black legged and big, black feet. This guy is a finished rope, Ranch and Trail gelding. He is extremely broke to ride in every way. Walks out fast and confident. Gentle, gentle, gentle describes this guy well. Anybody that can sit up and hold the bridal reins can ride this horse anywhere. He has been one of our very favorite horses that can do any job you put in front of him. He has a great one hand neck, rein and will easily step to each correct lead, lopes pretty circles and has a big stop. He turns around good both ways. He has done everything you can do on one on the ranch. Very fun to rope on outside or head and heel on him in the arena. Has also had some breakaway calves roped on him and has drug hundreds of calves to the branding fire. This horse will not Buck, pull back or be silly. He is truly a good partner at whatever you are doing. You can climb up on the fence or mounting block and just smooch to him and he will side step right over and let you aboard. Crosses water, and all the different obstacles with ease. 

This is the kind we are all looking for that you can lay off for six months, and he will be the exact same horse when you’re ready to go for a ride. He has been hauled to jackpots and rodeos and is a solid, reliable guy. Has been my personal heel horse this last year and he will be greatly missed. Good to open and close gates on and is a great cow horse. Very good to sort on and will really watch a cow. We have put beginner riders on him on big trail rides, and he has always taken care of his rider and does not take advantage. Been to the back country and is not watchy or spooky of things along the trail. You can turn and ride him off from the other horses without any fuss at all. This is a good, looking hard to find true black legged, buckskin with no bad habits.  Whoever ends up with this guy is going to love him. Feel free to come and try him at the ranch before the sale.
