Ricky is one of our favorites on the ranch. His quiet disposition makes him the perfect fit for any job. He has been used in the sorting pen, crosses water and logs, been branded on, opens and closes gates, and travels out well by himself or with other horses. His quiet demeanor makes him pleasant to go for a trail ride, but he can go all day on the ranch as well. He has been used extensively in the mountains and knows what a good day’s work is. Ricky has a nice handle in the arena and is soft in your hand, turns around,
lopes nice circles and stops well. He excels as a using horse but has the responsiveness and talent to go to a performance home. He has been tracking smarty and is ready for the next step making a rope horse. Ricky stands tied, bathes, trailers well, and has great ground manners. He doesn’t get fresh with time off and has never offered to buck or rear. He has been hauled regularly to town and exposed to lots of different places; he rarely spooks. He is fancy looking year-round and gets noticed wherever he goes. Ricky is a horse that is dependable and fun to ride, and he would be a great addition to any program. Vet
