Duke is a 16 Hand 7 year old black John Mule. He has a long stride and likes to travel out front at a good pace. He is well broke with many trail miles in both the Bob Marshall and Lee Metcalf Wilderness. He is both a riding mule and a good packer. He has a great set of withers and doesn’t need a crupper or britchen to be ridden in rough country. Watch the video to see how he handled the pack bridge in the Bob. Hank is a 15.2 HH 15 year old black half brother to the popular big black mule Gus that was in the sale last year. Look him over, you wont see another mule with better confirmation. Hank is a smooth, outgoing riding mule, that reins like a Lincoln. He is more suited to be a riding mule than a packer with good withers and doesn’t need a britchen in moderately rough country, however he has packed over a thousand miles and hundreds of loads. He leads a pack string and when riding likes to being right out in front checking out everything. He is easy to catch and the first one in the trailer when the gate is opened. You don’t catch Hank, he catches you. He is easy to saddle, bridle and clip. He stands to mount and has always been shod in a stock or on a table. FMI call 406-490-2044.
