Diamond stands out in the crowd. Standing 16.1+hh, he's 11 years old, an Appaloosa colored draft cross gelding with a big blanket. He is a stout built horse with a thick/sturdy bone structure! Diamond has been trail ridden, we have used him around cattle on the ranch and in our outfitting business. He has been a pleasure to own. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding down the rode in traffic. In the arena he has a smooth jog, he will lope very slow and collected and produce nice circles, he neck reins around and is a pleasure to ride. Diamond has packed gear and game without any problems. He has been mostly ridden western but will go english and is a great hunter/jumper prospect. Diamond will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been ridden by beginners and taken care of them. Diamond is a nice, quite gelding that can be a solid riding partner for his next family. Come try him before the sale. We have used him exclusively for parades, camping trips for guest riders, and our guest ranch rides on guided trails. He stands for all he should – vet, farrier, grooming, & tacking up. He will stand tied quietly on the picket line with other horses or tied alone to the hitching rail or horse trailer. He loads and unloads easily and hauls great.
