South of the border is where this cool little grey horse originated from. If you’ve ever been able to ride one of these Mexican horses you know how good they are. Alamo stands 15 hh wears a #1 shoe all the way around and is a young age of 8. Is good with his feet, to catch him just throw the lead rope over his neck and he’s caught. Loads and hauls good. Watchy on the ground is all that he is when he’s fresh. You can use this horse in rough country and not have to worry about a lame step or him quitting you. He’s been used mainly on the ranch, trails, to lead a string of pack mules and in parades. Alamo is one hand broke been roped on in and out of the arena. We’ve carried flags on him, shot a rifle off him. He’s just a solid using horse that will be there when the rest have done went back to the pen. Meet Georgie, a truly one-of-a-kind 4-year-old draft cross gelding standing 15.1hh, flashy sorrel, long mane and tail, with an eye catching presence. He is the ideal draft cross as he has the quarter horse look but the draft horse build. He is fun, safe, broke, and versatile. He is incredibly easy to be around: always the first one to meet you out in a 100-acre pasture or a dry lot pen, easy to load, haul, shoe, and a total gentleman on the ground. Our entire family and even the neighbor kids ride him- from the 6-year-old to the adults everyone feels confident and comfortable on him. On the trails, he is confident, surefooted, and quiet minded. He crosses water, goes through brush, and navigates rough terrain with ease. This fall, Georgie was used to sort and ship on, then open and shut the gate for the trailers to come into the pen to load. In the arena, he is just fun! He has all the fancy buttons: sliding spot, spins, great handle, and soft responsive feel. Always willing to learn anything new with a willing attitude. The kids love to use Georgie for their extreme trail course for fun. Tarps, jumps, bridges, tarps on barrel, keyhole, poles, you name it he has probably done it.
