New Mules 2010

Peanuts: 2002 black john mule. Peanuts is a 15 hand john mule who has been ridden and packed in the mountains. He will ride off by himself and lead down the trail. Peanuts likes people and is good to catch and handle. He has a ground covering walk and stands to get on. Good about his ears and good to shoe. Casey is a great mule, you can ride him out front, use him to wrangle horses and mules. Anyone young or old can ride Casey! He is fun to ride. Has been packed, packs meat and is willing to please. 14.3 hands.

Kate has primarily been used for packing. But, on occasion has been ridden. Kate has been used solo as a single pack animal, but also works well in a long string. She has been used extensively in the mountains, packing a variety of cargo. She has participated in numerous parades as part of the long string.  For more info call Dusty Hincks @ 208-523-1412. Orio is a 14 hand, 3 1/2 yr old, black & white Molly that has been packed for one season. No problems or bad habits. She's a very quiet little mule to be around. Orio is good to handle and saddle. She has lots of color.

Faith is a 14.2 hand, 14 yr old Bay Molly. Faith has a million miles in the mountains. She is very gentle, has a nice running walk, easy to clip & shoe, and good for anybody to ride or pack. Bowie is a nice riding mule that anyone can ride. She is easy to catch and stands for you to get on. She reins good and has a good stop. She was used in a pack string for 2 yrs and has packed deer, elk, lions, & bear. For Info call (208) 739-8000. Note: Owner selling due to loss of eyesight.

Spanky is a really nice, 14.2 hand ranch mule. He has alot of outside miles hunting, packing, general duties on the ranch, gathering and pushing cattle. He is used to a rope and has been to a few brandings. He is a gentle mule to ride and has a good handle.

Yuma is a 15.4 hand, 9 year old Palomino John Mule that has been rode in arenas collecting cattle. He has been hunted off of & packed 90% of his life. He is gaited and walks out very smooth. Trims, clips. No problems.

Skeeter has one full season of packing and 30 days of riding. He is 14 hands and is very gentle and kind. He will be an outstanding trail mule. He crosses creeks, logs, and bridges with no problem. He's good to catch and haul.

Stitches is a handsome, 15.1 hand, big boned mule. We have ridden him working cattle (roping), hunting, on pack trips and around rodeo crowds. He is gentle and easy to catch. Stitches has been packed in a hunt camp for two seasons. He is well broke and neck reins well. Trail Course Competitor!!!

Cisco packs and has been driven. He is a 6 yr old, 14.2 hand, Sorrel with a Blaze, Gelding. He has a nice disposition and will come to anybodies grain bucket.  

Clyde is a well broke mule. You can either ride or pack him with no problem. He's not cold backed and hasn't ever offered to buck. I have used him to gather cows on and even roped a little on him. Clyde is not the biggest mule in the world (14 hands) but he will get the job done. This mule will fit anyones program, if its once a year or full-time. Don't miss out on him. A Real Nice 15 hand mule that is super friendly and gentle. He's been used on the ranch as well as hunting and pack trips. He's the first to meet you at the gate to be caught. Deuce is real good around his ears and his feet. A real neat mule anyone can get along with. Sells sound and gentle. FMI 208-550-0992

Charlie is a 14.2 hand dandy little riding mule. He will move out all day long on the trail. He has no vices or bad habits. He's a little easier to catch with grain. Good to load and haul.

Pack and Ride. 30 Days Professional Training in 2009. Now has 30 more days of two hours a day with Muleman Joe Miller of Salmon.  Has become an awesome mule. Fully broke. Calm and Gentle, Easy to Catch. Excellent ground work. Loads Excellent. Feet Trim Excellent. Height 55".   Breezy is 5 this year and Lot #42, Frankie is 4. They are sisters born a year apart.

Sam is a big three year old. You would think he was out of a Thoroughbred Mare. He is out of a Quarterhorse Mare. He will make someone a nice riding mule. Should get to 15.3 to 16 hands. Good bone and feet. Will have 10 - 12 rides by Sale time. Packed 6 times in mountains last year.

Stewey is a 15.2 hand, 7 year old light dun John mule. He has been packed in the mountains and trail ridden. Stewey is an excellent trail and hunting mule. The more time spent with Stewey the more you will appreciate his sturdy sure-footed ride. Stewey responds quickly to reign; he side-passes and backs. Stewey is a shy animal that needs time to bond with his rider. Stewey is easy to shoe, roach his mane, body clip and he loads well. Tucker is a big pretty Mule. He is well broke and gentle for anyone to ride or pack. He has been to camp and packed anything you can imagine. He packs meat. He is easy to clip and work around. He is good with his feet and ears.
