New Mules 2009

Gabe is a 9 Year Old Bay, 14.2 hands Pack and Riding Mule. He belongs to my boy, Justen. We have used this mule to pack out elk and deer, in Fairfield, Idaho and in the Selway. Gabe is a mule that can go forever. Justen and his sister have also rode Gabe at the ranch and in the mountains. Gabe loads great and is good with his feet.  

1998 Black John Mule. Lefty is a delux pack mule, and you can ride him, too. He is good with his feet and ears. Lefty is 15 hands and keeps up well. Load camp on him and he's ready to go! Tulip is a 8 year old, 14.1h pack mule. She is a pretty molly with a nice head. She has been used as a pack mule in the Steens Mountains. Tulip is a mule that can go forever with a pack and wont quit. She will continue being used as a pack animal the next two months until the sale. With time Tulip could be used as a riding mule. 15.2 hand, 4 year old Bay/White Socks. Ben is a friendly youngster who's had some training. He side passes, etc. We sent him to Iowa for the last 9-10 mo.'s to be ridden and "schooled" extensively by hunting buddies (fellow mule people) No Problem! He likes to work! Two Year Old Sorrel Molly, 62". Broke to lead as weanling. We train them behind a wagon full of hay that is being pulled by a team of mules, when I go to feed 450 cows. So they see lots of things. She has been saddled, packed and/or ridden everyday since mid-December, 2008. Offspring to black quarter horse and mammoth jack (61" tall). Gentle and easy to catch.

Preta is a 3 year black old molly mule out of Max and a 1/2 Paint 1/2 Percheron mare. For more info go to www.djbarranch.com

Cinnamon is a 17 year old red roan heavy molly mule. Has packed and hauled hunters in the wilderness for 2 years. 15 hands tall. Has had two sets of shoes each season. Wears size one shoe.

Bertha is a 15.2 h dark bay molly mule. She has good black legs and feet and a good back and withers. She has been ridden & packed in the mountains and used to lead pack strings. Bertha will really walk out and is a nice easy mover with no spook or funny business. She has a good handle and is a lot of fun to ride. Sells 100% Sound.

Festus is a 9 year old gray John mule, 14.1 hands. Festus has been extensively rode and packed. Best Friend You'll Ever Have.  

Joe is a very gentle sorrel mule. You can pack camp or meat on him. He has been rode and packed extensively. He gets down the trail or arena at a nice fast walk. He is easy to catch and is picket broke. Joe has done it all.

5 year old, Black Donkey: Large Standard Jack, 13.3. He has been a pet more than anything. He has had some riding and has been packed. Soldier has excellent conformation, a good personality and docile disposition. He is very easy to handle and is willing to do most anything he is asked of. He currently is with the geldings and has not caused a single problem. His Dam's Grandsire is Black Bart, famous Grand Champion Halter and Performance Jack. Three year old Black, Brown, White Paint Molly, 15.2. Bonita. Lots of color. Started last fall. She is being rode alone outside now. Big country stride, getting better every trip. Like to get noticed this could be your mule.

5 year old sorrel Belgian Mare, approx. 17 hands. Cady has pulled a feed wagon, harrowed meadows and even skidded a few logs. She is coming  along very nice. She just needs more experience. She has also been ridden and used to pack in and out of hunting camp.

3 year old white roan molly. Ginger was started when she was two years old and she has been through a Brad Cameron Mule Clinic. She has alot of potential for an excellent saddle mule. For more info. call 208-521-4926.

Nellie has been ground worked, sacked out and saddled. She is very willing to learn. Current on all shots, vet checked and guaranteed sound. She is halter broke. 14.2 hands, 3 yr. old brown molly.

This 59" 2 year old bay molly is broke to lead as a weanling. Saddled, packed and/or ridden daily since mid December, 2008. Offspring to bay quarter horse mare & mammoth jack (61" tall) Full sister to Abe (Lot #12) and Lincoln (Lot #27).  

7 year old sorrel molly mule. She has packed in the wilderness in hunting camp for 3 years. 14.5 hands tall. Easy to shoe and easy to catch.

Tucker is a very gentle, 14.3 hand, 5-6 yr old Red John. He loads, trailers, packs and rides. Packed during hunting season and did wonderful. 30 + days riding this spring. He is good with his feet for trimming.

Black Betty is a 15H steel gray molly mule with good bone, good foot, good back & withers. She has been ridden in the mountains and she has been to town in parades. Black Betty is easy to catch & good with her feet. She has a good ground covering walk. She handles well and she is very gentle. Black Betty would make an excellent mule for work or fun.
